GPS supplier companies registered in Malaysia are invited to become MPOB panels as suppliers of palm oil diversion management and tracking systems using the global positioning system (GPS).
INVITATION TO GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS) SUPPLIERS
GPS suppliers are invited to supply GPS systems and equipment to transport companies that move palm oil as stipulated in the transport company’s license conditions. Only legally recognized GPS providers will be appointed as MPOB providers.
BACKGROUND
Only companies appointed as MPOB panels are allowed to supply GPS systems and equipment to transport companies licensed by MPOB to move palm oil as stipulated in the license conditions.
TERMS OF APPLICATION
1) The GPS provider has a ‘Fleet Management System’
2) The company must be registered in Malaysia and
3) The GPS provider must comply with the minimum specifications set as attached in the form application
EVALUATION AND DECISIONS OF APPLICATIONS
1) MPOB assessment includes inspection visits to operational premises and data transmission tests
2) Application results will be notified in writing
3) Successful applicants are required to sign a panel appointment agreement with MPOB
